Azerbaijan lifts COVID-19 travel restrictions for international arrivals
27 March 2023
The Cabinet of Ministers in Azerbaijan has announced the adoption of a resolution to eliminate certain restrictions of the special quarantine regime. As a result, citizens of all countries and stateless persons can now arrive in Azerbaijan by air starting from March 28th.
Furthermore, the requirement for arrivals from all countries to present a document confirming vaccination against COVID-19 or immunity from coronavirus has been cancelled. This means that visitors will no longer need a COVID-passport to visit celebration houses, sports and wellness facilities, large shopping centers, catering facilities, hotels and travel by intercity transport.
It is important to note that the last mentioned restriction has not been enforced for several months.
