Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan discuss transit of hydrocarbon fuels

The Azerbaijani Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov, and his Kazakh counterpart, Bolat Akchulakov, held a meeting in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, Report informs.
The meeting, which was attended by the representatives of the Ministries of Economy and Energy, as well as the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan, focused on the discussion of effective bilateral cooperation in the field of energy.
The sides agreed to expand cooperation in the transit of hydrocarbon fuels and energy efficiency, increase the share of renewable sources in energy production and consumption, and hold the next meeting of existing working groups in the energy field as soon as possible.
The Energy Minister is on a visit to Kazakhstan to attend the 18th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on trade and economic cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Kazakhstan to be held in Nur-Sultan on July 5.
