A delegation led by the First Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Elnur Aliyev, visited Spain to discuss the establishment of an intergovernmental commission or working group between the two countries. Officials from the economic sectors of both countries also discussed the establishment of the embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Azerbaijan. The meeting was held with the head of the Economic Affairs Committee of the Congress of Deputies of the Spanish Parliament, Celso Luis Delgado Arce, and the head of the Industry, Trade, and Tourism Committee, Juan Capdevila. The move is aimed at strengthening economic ties between Azerbaijan and Spain, as well as improving diplomatic relations. The delegation is expected to continue its visit to Spain in the coming days.
