Azerbaijan and Romania Sign MoU to Bolster Cyber Security Cooperation

Azerbaijan and Romania have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing cooperation in the area of cyber security. The agreement was reached after a delegation led by the head of the State Service, Ilgar Musayev, visited Romania and met with officials, including the director of the Romanian National Cyber Security Directorate, Mr. Dan Cimpean.

During the talks, both sides discussed potential avenues for future collaboration and agreed to strengthen joint efforts to combat cyber threats. The MoU specifically focuses on areas such as sharing information and experience on cyber security incidents, as well as improving the cooperation of Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERT) teams.

The signing of the MoU marks an important step forward in the bilateral relationship between Azerbaijan and Romania, and demonstrates the countries' commitment to working together to address the growing cyber security challenges facing the world today.
