International conference dedicated to Abdurrahim bey Hagveriyev and Uzeyir Hajibeyli to be held in Kazakhstan

The International Turkic Academy (ITA) situated in the capital of Kazakhstan – Nur-Sultan City will hold international online videoconference entitled as “Self-sacrificers of literary, cultural and public and political life of Turkic world: Abdurrahim bey Hagverdiyev and Uzeyir Hajibeyli” on October 2, APA reports.

The event is implemented according to Order of President Ilham Aliyev about celebration of 150th anniversary of Abdurrahim bey Hagverdiyev dated January 31, 2020, and the activity plan adopted at the last meeting of Scientific Council of ITA held in January of this year in Baku City.

The participation and speaking of senior officials of relevant ministries of ITA member countries (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Hungary (associate member)), prominent scientists from various countries of the world, public figures, ambassadors, heads of international organizations in the conference that will be held in close collaboration with UNESCO have been envisaged.

The presentation of “Azerbaijan People’s Republic – 100” prepared by the International Turkic Academy, published in the Kazakh language for the first time by an international organization and encompassing the facts about the Azerbaijan People’s Republic, historical maps, documents will also be held in the framework of the conference.
